What's This?

With this year’s Flag Football World Championships coming in at nearly 200 teams and set to begin play next weekend, the FFWCT is announcing some big plans in regards to the event’s new home for the next 3 years! Starting in 2019, the Flag Football World Championships will be held in Arlington, TX, and will feature all styles offered in 2018, youth and adult, men’s, women’s and coed, while also adding 9v9 Men’s Ineligible and 8v8 Men’s Screen to it’s lineup of divisions to play in! Also planned is a new youth camp held the Friday before the event. The date is also being moved up to Memorial Day weekend, May 24-26, 2019 for a more player-friendly travel date!

The 2019 Flag Football World Championships will be held at Harold Patterson Park, featuring over 21 pristine grass fields at a state of the art facility, 17 with lights, right in the heart of Arlington’s shopping district, in cooperation with the Arlington Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Arlington features amenities such as the Dallas Cowboys AT&T Stadium, the Texas Rangers Globe Life Park, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor water park, and a huge selection of restaurants, shopping and entertainment within minutes from the field. Also launching soon will be the Texas Live district, connecting Cowboys and Ranger’s stadiums with top end restaurants, nightlife and concert venues. This is an event you’ll want to plan your vacation around!

More information will be coming soon but be sure to follow us on facebook and instagram to stay up to date with all current news and announcements!
