The WAY to early Battle Orlando Previews

Battle Orlando is still almost 3 full months away but with 250+ already registered for what is shaping up to be one of the largest flag football tournaments around, the sports world can’t help but wonder…who are the early favorites? 4v4 Division: It pays to be Most Hated The 4v4 world is a fickle world. Players swap teams and abandon ship quite often so it’s no surprise that some of the top teams have added and subtracted players in preparation of Battle Orlando. But in reality none of that matters when the most dominant team in the last 8 months has also been the most roster consistent, resulting in them also being, Most Hated. Also don’t forget this is 4man so don’t be surprised if you see teams like Sinister, Wet N Dirty, 305, Young Bloodz, Texas Looney Tunes, or Suicide Squad (Fo...

USFTL Nationals 2016 Recap & Highlights

We’ve officially been back from USFTL Nationals 2016 event in Plant City, Florida for a couple weeks now, and can already say we’re incredibly excited to get back next year. There’s nothing like being a part of the largest flag football tournament in the world.  Over 410 teams were represented this year, spread out over a sprawling complex with so many fields it was hard to even get to them all.  We thought it would be fun to give you guys a glimpse into our world for the weekend, being a sponsor and playing in the event ourselves, as to what we thought and where we see it going in the next couple years! The FFWCT Team Behind-The-Scenes We took a crew of 7 from multiple cities (Dallas, Indianapolis & Sacramento), including 1 photographer, videographer, social media sp...

Roswell Recap: Looney Tunes Wins It All

The 20th Annual Hike it & Spike it 4on4 Flag Football Tournament was held this past weekend in Roswell, New Mexico and the Show Me The Money division was full of surprises.  Several heavy favorites went down early, and some new teams rose to the top while competing for the $15,000 in total prizes.  Here’s a quick breakdown of some of the action and results for those who couldn’t make it and haven’t heard! WINNERS BRACKET The 2015 Hike it & Spike it “Show Me The Money” division winners bracket this year looked like a nice easy ride for the returning favorites Blackout in the bottom left bracket, with the top right looking thin and the bottom right and top left being loaded with proven and experienced teams. As often happens in flag football tournaments ...

Bracket & Predictions for Roswell Show Me The Money Division

The Hike it & Spike it 4on4 Flag Football Tournament is this weekend in Roswell, NM and they just announced the Show Me The Money division bracket!  28 teams will be competing to win a total of $15,000 this weekend! Based on this bracket, here are my predictions for the top 5 teams to finish this year, along with the full bracket to scroll through and check out! CLICK BRACKET TO ENLARGE! Wet N Dirty Wet N Dirty is a very solid team out of Jacksonville, FL, that benefits from one of the easiest draws on the bracket, not having to play a perennial contender until 4 rounds in. I see them losing to Looney Tunes and then ending with a 5th placed finish. Freaks Former “Show Me The Money” championship Quarterback Pat Alley leads a very experienced team that is loaded on both sides...

Flag Football Rankings: Top 10 4v4 Teams in the US

We thought it would be fun to post our flag football rankings for the top 4 on 4 teams in the country, so below is how it stands as of today.  As I was prepping to write this, I text a couple of people to see who they would rank and where they would rank them. I was surprised to see that other than a couple of variances, they were all the same teams on the list. Now they change dramatically on where they all were in the rankings. So since I have played with or against all these teams I feel like I can rank them fairly well. I will be honest 3-6 are all interchangeable to me so this is where I will catch some crap. PENGUINS – Youngstown, OH Probably the biggest surprise to ever win Roswell when they won it in 2012. A seasoned team with a lot of players that show up and do what they ar...
